  EASTERN CALIFORNIA MUSEUM
A collection of history, geology, botany, mineralogy and Indian anthropology which includes one of the largest collections of Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone basketry in the nation. Special exhibits are also featured such as the Norman Clyde Exhibits "The Pack with legs."

LAWS RAILROAD MUSEUM
Check out what remains of the old west in a town called Laws.  Each building holds an exhibit of artifacts and collections from this era. In addition to Laws numerous trains, equiptment, and depots are onside for your viewing.  If you love trains and antiques LAWS is the place to be.

MANZANAR NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
Preserving the stories of the internment of nearly 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II Manzanar offfers the visitors an automobile tour of the grounds as well as an extensive encounter of daily life as a Japanese-American at that time.

OWENS VALLEY PAIUTE SHOSHONE INDIAN CULTURAL CENTER MUSEUM
Operated by the Bishop Paiute Tribe, this Cultural Center Museum is designed to capture the spirit and culture of the people.  The focus of this museum is to teach visitors the culture and history of the Paiute and Shoshone Indians who lived and still reside in the Owens Valley. Be sure to stop by the gift shop where local artisians display and sell arwork and jewlery.
