Arbor Day is celebrated nationally to encourage Americans to maintain and replenish our country’s vast 
forest, orchards and woodlands. Trees play an important role in our 
cities energy conservation, wildlife habitat, protecting and purifying our 
water supply, air quality and are a valuable economic asset.

Arboretum on Sunday March 13, 2011

What a great turnout, thank you City of Bishop for recognizing this State Holiday!

Bishop's PeeWee All-Stars traveled to Carson City to compete in a best out of three, mini-tournament with the Carson All-Stars. A big thanks to Ed Walton and his coaching staff for putting together practices, and organizing the team to play.

The first game was all about adjusting to the new environment.  The flooring was a little slicker than we're use to but the team was able to adjust and kill em in the second game. 

Unfortunately the Bishop All-Stars ended the tournament with a close loss 5-2.  It was a great experience and great final game.  For all the boys who participated, we'll get em' next year!
